Description

The general minimum requirement for admissions to undergraduate courses in tertiary institutions is ‘core subjects at 332A’ in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), which refers to attainment with level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language, level 2 in Mathematics Compulsory Part and ‘Attained’ in Citizenship and Social Development, respectively. Some courses may require ‘core subjects at 333A’ which refers to attainment with level 3 in Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics Compulsory Part, and ‘Attained’ in Citizenship and Social Development, respectively.

This dataset includes the following statistics: - The general performance - The general performance in the best five subjects - The results statistics and grade point distribution for eligibility to sub-degree programmes - The results statistics and grade point distribution related to university admission - The performance of candidates with special needs - The level distribution in both languages - The level distribution in Mathematics Compulsory Part and Extended Part - The top levels / grades statistics
